In January of 2020 we moved to a new building on the same campus! We will be right inside the front door on the ground floor of the new Gateway Building, suite 140.

Our PT location is in the Antioch75 shopping center across 75th street from our office. It is on the west end of the center, down from Panera Bread.
Shawnee Mission Medical Center Location (Main Office):
Monday – Friday: 8 am – 4:30 pm
Physical Therapy Location (PT):
Monday - Thursday: 7 am - 6 pm (last appointment at 5 pm)
Friday: 7 am - 5 pm (last appointment at 4 pm)
In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call emergency medical services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of Midwest Orthopaedics, and they will contact us.
If you have an urgent medical need and need to talk to our doctors after our regular hours, please call our answering service at (913) 808-3244. A doctor is on-call 24 hours a day, and your call will be returned promptly.
At Midwest Orthopaedics, we accept Workers’ Compensation, Medicare, and most major insurance plans. Please contact your insurance company or you may call our billing office at (913) 322-7820 to find out if we accept your insurance plan.
If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

If your insurance is an HMO/managed care plan and you are required to obtain a referral or prior authorization from your primary care physician, the referral/authorization must be obtained before you can be seen for an office visit. Please coordinate this with your primary care physician in advance. Appointments will be rescheduled if required referrals are not received in the office by the time of your visit.

Please contact your pharmacy for prescription refills. Your pharmacy will then contact us. Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Midwest Orthopaedics are routinely issued between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm. No refills are issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
