Mary Millett
 Surgery Scheduler, Clinical Manager

Mary has been with the practice since 1977, starting as a nurse for Dr. Nye. She schedules surgeries and a variety of tests for our patients, as well as managing the clinical employees and serving as the practice memory bank. 

Shannyn Tinberg, CPC
  Billing Manager

Shannyn is a Certified Professional Coder and is the billing manager for our group. She works with all of the insurance carriers as well as supervising the billing operations for our group. Shannyn with billing questions at 913-322-7815. 

Pat Vermillion
 Phone Nurse

Patients with questions for the doctors will be speaking with Pat, our phone nurse. She has been with the practice since 1978. She takes all calls for medical issues and checks with the doctors to see what the best course of action will be. She then calls the patients back to let them know what the doctor's recommendations are.

Carol Jones
  Billing Specialist

Carol has worked at Midwest Orthopaedics since 2003, and is the primary patient contact for billing questions.  Carol can be reached at 913-322-7820.

Barbara Sack, MHSA, CMPE
 Executive Director

Barbara has been the Executive Director for Midwest Orthopaedics since 2004. She is a Certified Medical Practice Executive with a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration and over 20 years experience as a practice administrator.  She has been a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Executives since 2004, and served as Secretary from 2009 - 2011.  In 2011 she became President-Elect, and will be President of AAOE in May 2012.
