Dr. Jeffrey Henning

Dr. Henning grew up in Cheney, Kansas, just outside of Wichita, and attended undergraduate and medical school at the University of Kansas.  He completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and completed a Foot and Ankle Fellowship from the University of Washington Harborview Hospital in Seattle, Washington.

Jeff joined Midwest Orthopaedics in September of 2009 as a foot and ankle specialist and a general orthopaedic surgeon.  He enjoys treating complex forefoot and hindfoot problems.  As an avid runner and a former member of the University of Kansas Track and Field and Cross Country teams he also specializes in the treatment of athletic injuries of the lower extremity.

Dr. Henning is married and has one child, and is happy to be back in Kansas.  He sees patients at both our main office on the Shawnee Mission Medical Center campus and also at our Saint Luke’s South office.  He is Board-eligible in orthopaedic surgery.
